Residents invited to apply for Community Services Advisory Committee

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is seeking new members for the Community Services Advisory Committee (CSAC). 

The CSAC provides recommendations to City Council regarding community grant funding allocations and advises on matters related to social policy and community programs. Committee members play an important role in supporting the well-being and development of Lloydminster’s community-based initiatives and social service offerings. 

"Community volunteers bring valuable perspectives to the decisions that help shape local programs and services," said Mayor Gerald Aalbers. "Serving on CSAC is an opportunity to support organizations that strengthen our community and improve quality of life for residents." 

Committee member responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing grant application packages prepared by the Social Programs and Services department
  • Attending grant allocation meetings
  • Meeting with community organizations at the request of the committee chair
  • Supporting Social Programs and Services initiatives 

Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2026.
