RV Sanitary Dump Station opens for 2026 season on May 15

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster’s RV Sanitary Dump Station, located at 5925 49 Avenue, will open for the season on Friday, May 15, 2026.

The self-serve facility provides residents and visitors with a location to dispose of RV wastewater during the camping season. The station will remain open through September 30, 2026, and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Users are reminded that the facility is intended for RV dumping only. The following are prohibited at the site:

• oil, fuel, or hazardous waste
• commercial septic waste
• vehicle washing
• garbage disposal

Violations may result in fines of up to $10,000 under Bylaw No. 15-2021.

To use the station safely and properly, users should:

• Secure the drain hose to the trailer.
• Place the drain end of the hose into the receptacle.
• Open the trailer tank drain.
• Rinse the drain hose and surrounding area as required.

Please note that on-site water is non-potable and is not safe for drinking or cooking.
