City of Lloydminster launches 2026 municipal budget engagement campaign

Lloydminster, AB/SK — The City of Lloydminster has launched its 2026 municipal budget engagement campaign, inviting residents to help shape the city’s financial future by providing feedback on services that matter most.

Running now through August 20, 2025, the campaign asks residents to share their satisfaction and preferred spending levels in key service areas, including:

  • Roadway maintenance
  • Protective services
  • Parks and green spaces
  • Leisure services
  • Municipal services

Public input collected through the campaign will help inform the development of Lloydminster’s 2026 municipal budget.

Engagement opportunities include both formal and informal structures. Residents are encouraged to visit YourVoiceLloyd.ca/2026Budget to participate in the online survey and to stay informed about upcoming in-person consultation opportunities. These events will offer residents the chance to meet with City Administration and Council, ask questions, and learn more about the City’s budgeting and asset management processes.

Paper surveys will also be available at City-owned recreational facilities such as Servus Sports Centre, Bioclean Aquatic Centre, Lloydminster Museum + Archives, and the Lloydminster Public Library.

Local businesses interested in supporting the campaign by hosting lobby displays and distributing paper surveys are invited to email yourvoice@lloydminster.ca.
