Lloydminster, AB/SK – Lloydminster City Council has given first reading to borrowing Bylaw No. 03-2026 which will, upon final passage and approval, authorize the City of Lloydminster to borrow monies from the Province of Alberta, the Province of Saskatchewan or another authorized financial institution by way of debenture issue. The borrowed money will be used to pay for the cost of design and construction of the Landfill Operations Building, Entrance and Scalehouse within the City of Lloydminster.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster invites residents to participate in an upcoming Public Hearing for proposed Bylaw No. 12-2024. This bylaw seeks to amend the Land Use District Map (Part IV of Land Use Bylaw No. 05-2016) to support future residential development in the Lakeside neighbourhood.

The Alberta Utilities Commission expects to receive an application from ATCO Gas and Pipelines Ltd. to approve the existing current and valid natural gas distribution franchise agreement with the City of Lloydminster.
