City of Lloydminster to host 2025 Economic Development Breakfast

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster invites local business owners, managers, and representatives from all industries to the 2025 Economic Development Breakfast on Thursday, November 28, from 7–9 a.m. at the Lloydminster Exhibition Grounds.

Tickets are $25 and include breakfast, a keynote presentation, and networking opportunities with other local professionals. Registration closes Sunday, November 24, and tickets are available at Lloydminster.ca/EcDevBreakfast.

This year’s keynote speaker, Doug Griffiths, will lead a session on community and economic growth. Griffiths is a best-selling author, educator, and former MLA known for his engaging insights on building stronger communities.

In addition to the keynote session, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with City representatives at display booths showcasing business-focused services and programs from departments including:

• Leasing and Procurement
• Family and Community Support Services (FCSS)
• Taxation
• Transportation Services
• Planning Services
• Public Safety
• Environmental Services (Pollution Prevention)
• Fire Rescue Services
• Sponsorship opportunities 

Other business support organizations, including the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce, Lloydminster Region StartUp, Community Futures Lloydminster and Region, and the Lloydminster Construction Association, will also be in attendance to provide information and resources for local businesses.

The annual Economic Development Breakfast provides an opportunity to learn, collaborate, and strengthen business relationships that contribute to Lloydminster’s growing economy.
