Lloydminster City Council adopts 2025-2029 Strategic Plan
Lloydminster, AB/SK — City Council has adopted the 2025-2029 Council Strategic Plan, setting a clear course for the community’s future growth.

“This Strategic Plan reflects our commitment to making thoughtful decisions that support long-term sustainability, economic strength, and a high quality of life for everyone in Lloydminster,” said Mayor Gerald Aalbers. “We know achieving our goals will take collaboration with residents, staff, government and non-government partners, and community organizations.”
The plan was presented at the June 16 Governance and Priorities Committee meeting before coming to Council for final approval on June 23.
