Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham sponsors water filling station at Cenovus Energy Hub

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is pleased to announce that Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lloydminster has joined the roster of community sponsors supporting Cenovus Energy Hub. Through this partnership, Microtel has secured naming rights to a water filling station within the now-open facility, enhancing visitor comfort and accessibility.

The sponsorship was recognized during a cheque presentation at Cenovus Energy Hub, marking Microtel’s investment in a community facility that is already hosting sports, entertainment, and community events.

Cenovus Energy Hub is the largest entertainment facility of its kind in the region, hosting sports, concerts, and community events year-round. The inclusive and accessible facility serves Lloydminster and surrounding communities and includes:

• A primary arena with seating for 2,500, expandable to 4,500 for concerts and events
• A second NHL-sized indoor ice surface with seating for up to 500
• An outdoor ice surface adjacent to the building, which converts to a basketball court during the summer months
