Municipal Enforcement and RCMP launch AGENT Program for businesses and property owners

Lloydminster, AB/SK – City of Lloydminster Municipal Enforcement and the Lloydminster RCMP are introducing the Authorized General Enforcement for Nuisances and Trespassing (AGENT) Program, giving businesses and property owners an additional option to address trespassing and nuisance activity on private property.

The AGENT Program allows participating businesses to authorize Police and Peace Officers to act as their representative when addressing trespassing, loitering, and other unlawful activity occurring on their property when they are not present.

The program is designed to help enforcement respond more efficiently when attending properties experiencing recurring concerns.

Participation in the AGENT Program is voluntary and free of charge. Businesses enrolled in the program will receive an AGENT identification sticker to display at their property indicating that RCMP and Municipal Enforcement are authorized to act on their behalf for enforcement purposes.

Businesses and property owners interested in participating can complete an authorization form and submit it to the Lloydminster RCMP Detachment (5106 44 Street).
