New skating trail now open at Weaver Park Campground

Lloydminster, AB/SK – Residents are invited to lace up their skates and enjoy a new outdoor skating trail now open at Weaver Park Campground (4515 44 Street).

The skating trail is located within the campground, with designated parking, entrance and exit points marked on-site. Visitors are encouraged to follow posted signage and use the designated parking area. A site map outlining parking, access points, and the skating route is available to assist visitors.

For safety, users are encouraged to wear helmets, remain aware of changing ice conditions, and follow all posted signage throughout the area. Lighting is provided along the skating trail for evening use.

The skating trail is open during the following hours:

• Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The City reminds residents that outdoor ice conditions can change quickly and encourages skaters to use caution and skate responsibly.
