Winter road maintenance update

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is advising residents of ongoing snow and ice control efforts following overnight snowfall on November 27.

Sanders operated throughout the night, with staff continuing operations this morning. Graders and plows are working on Priority 1 routes. Sidewalk plows are clearing Priority 1 sidewalks and will move to Priority 2 routes as conditions allow.

Crews will continue sanding Saturday morning, with further needs assessed throughout the day. A stand-by crew will complete a road check Sunday morning and sand as required.

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution and allow crews the space needed to work safely.
