Neighborhood Redevelopment Program
A collaborative initiative through Economic Development, Public Safety, Taxation, Planning and Development and Social Programs and Services.
The Neighborhood Redevelopment Program provides financial incentives to support the revitalization and long-term sustainability of established residential neighborhoods within the City of Lloydminster. The program encourages private property improvements, infill development, and enhancements that align with the Municipal Development Plan (MDP), the City of Lloydminster Strategic Plan (2025–2029), and the Economic Development Strategic Plan. Neighbourhood Redevelopment aims to improve the livability of Lloydminster’s mature and established neighbourhoods.
This grant is regulated by the Economic Development Advisory committee and has specific eligibility requirements. Please refer to the Program Guidelines for Neighborhood Redevelopment Program for more information.

Redevelopment Grants

Building Rehabilitation or Demolition Grant
Addresses the need to improve the failing features of a building, involving the repair or restoration through strengthening or replacement of the structure in a way that returns its performance to levels approaching or exceeding those of a newly constructed building. Failure to repair or rehabilitate the structural integrity may result in demolishing the current structure.
- Structural Rehabilitation - Funding to restore integrity through reinforcement, replacement, or modernization of critical elements.
- Demolition Support - When deterioration is too advanced, funds help remove unsafe structures to prepare sites for new development.

Supporting the re-development of existing properties or lands to multi-residential uses.
