Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster has established the Housing Working Group, a collaborative initiative to address urgent housing needs and support individuals experiencing housing instability, as identified through the Social Needs Assessment conducted in 2022.

Lloydminster, AB/SK – The City of Lloydminster is proposing to increase the local access fee, which is charged to ATCO Electric for the use of the municipal lands for its power lines, effective January 1, 2025. The fee is recovered by ATCO Electric from its customers as the local franchise fee on electrical billings of all customers that receive electric service in the City of Lloydminster.

Eligible non-profit organizations in Lloydminster can apply for funding to help make a difference in the community. The applicant for the Subdivision Development Appeal Board (SDAB) hearing, scheduled for Wednesday, October 23, has withdrawn their application. Regardless of the application withdrawal, legislative process requires the SDAB convene.
