Community Services Support Directories
The City of Lloydminster’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) department’s mandate is to connect residents and area visitors with the social services resources within the community and regional area.
As part of this initiative, the Social Services Roadmap was launched in 2014 as a comprehensive guide to local resources. In 2019, the guide was rebranded with the title Lloyd Supports: A Community Services Directory, to be more inclusive and accessible.
In 2025, the FCSS department launched the first-ever Seniors Supports: A Directory of Connection and Local Resources. This document aims to connect residents 65+ with over 85 different resources throughout Lloydminster Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Background
The two social services directories are derived from the Lloyd Needs: Social Needs Assessment. Through this assessment, the City of Lloydminster gained a better understanding of what is impacting a community, what can be done, who should be involved and what roles they should have, is critical for effective and efficient service delivery. The categories within both directories are a direct result of this study.
