This positive, evidence-based session explores how simple, intentional lifestyle choices can support both mental and physical well-being as we age. Grounded in research and real-life application, it offers a refreshing and hopeful perspective on growing older.

Participants will discover practical, everyday strategies to strengthen resilience, stay socially connected and maintain brain health. The session also highlights the powerful role of optimism and purpose in enhancing overall well-being and quality of life.

Shelley Jackson-Berry

Shelley Jackson-Berry has a deep-seated passion for supporting the social well-being of individuals, families, and rural communities. Over a distinguished 38-year career with Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) in Central Alberta, Shelley led numerous initiatives dedicated to building community resilience and strengthening protective factors. Now a speaker and advocate, she brings her decades of real-world experience, warmth, and practical wisdom to audiences, inspiring meaningful connection and personal growth.
